Livin’ the DREAM

Carmesi has partnered up with the Harlem DREAM Charter School to bring a unique summer workshop! Students are introduced to foundational concepts needed to thrive in the fashion industry.

Whether it’s starting your own clothing brand or to pursue specialized training at a fashion school, students dive head first into what it’s like inside a independent cut and sew fashion house in NYC. Students have the opportunity to design original pieces and learn how garments are constructed from start to finish.

We also took a guided tour with our friends at Stadium Goods. It was very informative and everyone there was very kind and showed us the day to day responsibilities of a world famous consignment store. We are proud of our relationship with Stadium Goods and hope to continue to help educate young designers for many years to come.
