Live NYC Workshop: Introduction to Product Development and Sampling (Tee's and Base-layers)

Master the fundamentals of garment product development and gain the knowledge and skills to produce high-quality garments. Get a comprehensive understanding of the industry terminology and equipment used in this interactive workshop.

Workshop Duration: 7hrs total, split into two weeks. Students will attend the first day of the workshop then come back the following week to complete the workshop. (This gives us time to sew the final sample)

Class Duration: 3.5 Hours, 3pm-6:30pm

What will you do: Participate in a small class with instructors to create base-layer garments from concept to reality. Mock up your designs, cut out your patterns, and make your final sample. You will work along side instructors to learn terminology, patterning, and familiarity with industry equipment.

What will you gain: Attendees will leave with their pattern file, muslin sample, and final sample. Overall, attending the workshop will help attendees build a strong foundation in product development, design, and knowledge of industry equipment, which is essential for achieving their goals in fashion.
